I would love to create a custom painting for you. Here are some tips to remember when ordering a custom painting.

 

1. Measure your space or wall before finalizing on a size. You can use painters tape to recreate the size of the painting on the wall. This will help you visualize the scale of the painting.

 

2. You can send me inspiration photos or color palette that you are interested in especially any of my previous paintings that you have been inspired by. This will help me understand your vision. Also, photos of the wall the painting is going to be displayed on or the color of furniture in the room helps too.

3. Other artist's work will not be copied.

 

4. I ask for 50% deposit for each painting commissioned. The balance is due after the commission is complete and before the painting ships. This balance will include any shipping fees.

 

5. I would paint a preview/ sketch of the painting and get your approval. After the approval I would start working on the final painting. You will be kept updated of the progress on the painting. You would have an opportunity to make two small, reasonable changes to the painting before final payment. Commissioned paintings are charged more than regular/ ready to ship paintings because of the amount of time invested in creating a beautiful piece specifically for you. It would take 3 - 6 weeks for a commissioned painting to be completed.
